The astoneco training centre in Transylvania is situated in a rural area in the small village of Banpotoc, between the Retezat National Park and the Apuseni Mountains. The property is integrated into the rural landscape, harmoniously combining traditional construction materials like stone and wood with modern design and functionality, and is adjacent to a partner hotel.
A 10 minutes drive from Simeria station on the main Vienna to Bucharest railway line, the training centre and its amenities offer an inspiring retreat for training and team-building. There are 12 bedrooms available:
- one single,
- eight double / twin
- three apartments
All the rooms are different and unique in their design; yet they share a cosy and relaxed feeling, which is provided mainly by their natural materials, such as oak floorings, local stone, marble and linen. All rooms are en-suite. They are shared between three different buildings, each less than a five-minute walk from each other.
Training & Team Buildings
The training centre is designed to balance function with nature to create the perfect environment for trainings, working meetings and socialising.
The venue can accommodate both plenary meetings and a number of smaller groups, and has all the necessary technical equipment and services to host efficient business get-togethers.
Depending of the format of the event, the maximum group size recommended is around 20 people.
Barbecue-centred cuisine is favoured at the training centre. In addition, Villa Maria Castle’s restaurant, situated just a five minute-walk from the training centre, offers a selection of dishes blending local, Italian and international flavours. They also offer a great variety of carefully selected Romanian wines.
Special team menus can be designed upon request.
